Enroll in Medicare Part A, Part B and Part D (D for drug!) which is prescription drug coverage, ranging in premium from $15 to $80 per month (most fall in the lower half of that range).  All the bases are covered right?!  Wrong.  Expenses still include prescription deductibles of $100 - $545, in addition to the Part A deductible ($1,632 per 60-day benefit period) and your share (20%) of the Part B expenses (potentially thousands).  However, you have avoided future possible penalties for lacking Part B and prescription coverages.
